Alfa Romeo has shown off its new colours as they unveiled their challenger for 2023.
The updated livery, which features a striking black and red theme across the new C43, was revealed during an event in Zurich.
It will be the last time the C43 is entered under the Alfa Romeo name, with the manufacturer parting ways with Sauber at the end of the 2023 season.
This comes ahead of Audi’s entry in 2026, with the manufacturer having acquired a reported 25 per cent stake in Sauber.
The launch is the fourth of the season, with Williams, Red Bull and Haas having also unveiled their liveries for the upcoming season.
Speaking about the C43, Jan Monchaux, Technical Director, said: “This car is an evolution of last year’s, reflecting the new regulations and introducing major changes in the areas where we found improvements to be needed.
“I hope it’s going to be quicker than the successful car we had last year, that’s what matters most, and more reliable as well: we have put a lot of effort in this direction. Now, it’s time to get to the track and see how this car performs. I’m happy to get back to racing and I’m confident there will be much more to come from us soon.”
