McLaren have taken the covers off its challenger for the 2023 season.
The MCL60 was shown for the first time at the McLaren Technology Centre on Monday.
Named in tribute to the 60th anniversary of the team’s founding by Bruce McLaren, the car features the same colours as previous years with papaya orange, light blue and black.
The MCL60 also featured some noticeable changes for the upcoming season, such as a Red Bull-inspired sidepod solution.
It will be driven by Lando Norris and rookie Oscar Piastri.
McLaren CEO Zak Brown said: “We are delighted to launch our 2023 Formula 1 team with Lando and Oscar at the wheel as we celebrate 60 years of McLaren Racing.
“This year’s driver line-up is extremely exciting as Lando, an intelligent and confident driver with excellent pace, is joined by one of the biggest up-and-coming talents in motorsport with Oscar.”
McLaren slipped from fourth to fifth in the standings last year and is likely to face tough midfield opposition in 2023 from Alpine and Aston Martin.
But Brown believes the team have learnt a lot from last year as they continue their effort to push towards the front of the grid.
He added: “Under the guidance of Andrea Stella, who moved into the position of Team Principal in December 2022, we have an excellent team to spearhead the 2023 season and can look forward to seeing our young driver duo continue to grow their partnership throughout the upcoming campaign.”
