Red Bull will lift the covers off its 2023 challenger at a season launch in New York.

The team took to social media with the message ‘New kit, new car, New York’, confirming a launch event in the Big Apple on February 3.

“Not only is this going to be the first Formula One season launch to take place in the US, we’re also planning to make it the greatest in F1 history,” the team said in a statement.

Red Bull will retain their drive line-up of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for the 2023 season, but the team will have one new addition with the return of Daniel Ricciardo as a third driver.

Ricciardo, who drove for the team between 2014 and 2018, will take up simulator and marketing duties and provide support to Verstappen and Perez as Red Bull look to continue winning form after a very dominant 2022 season.

But the team face wind tunnel testing and CFD restrictions following penalties handed out by the FIA for their breach of the 2021 cost cap limit.
