Williams have confirmed the date they will show off their new 2023 livery as the team announced its ‘season launch’ plans.

The Grove based squad will hold a pre-season launch event on their website on February 6, with drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant on hand to reveal the team’s colours for the season.

“With the new Formula 1 season just around the corner, we are excited to officially confirm the date for our 2023 Season Launch and we would love for you to join the journey,” Williams said in a statement.

Williams had a challenging 2022 season, with the team only brining home eight points over the course of the year.

Changes have been made to the squad’s driver line-up for the upcoming season, with Nicholas Latifi being replaced by Sargeant, who finished fourth in the 2022 F2 standings.

Sargeant said: “It’s a huge honour and a dream come true to be given this opportunity to compete in Formula 1 with Williams Racing.

“A massive thank you to every person at Williams Racing and Dorilton Motor Sports for the support they’ve given me since the day I first joined the team at the 2021 United States Grand Prix.

“Being a part of the Williams Driver Academy for the past year has given me an important platform to develop as a driver and prepare me for this next chapter.

“I’m ready and excited to be a part of this journey as the team looks to progress up the grid”.
